Qualifications - Arts Award (Bronze) -
This year we are offering the Trinity Guildhall level 1 qualification to young people aged 11-13
The Arts Award is a national qualification which supports young people to develop as artists and arts leaders.
Doing an Arts Award will help you to develop your creative skills and your ability to communicate well and lead projects.
You select your starting point in a chosen arts activity and set personal challenges.
These are based upon

Taking part in an arts activity - This can include any arts activity you enjoy and want to improve your skill and extend your interest in.

Going to an Arts event - You will attend at least one arts event and record your views, collect programmes and other information and share these with others.

Arts heroines and heroes - Which artist or arts practitioner inspires you? Research the story of his or her life and work.
*
Arts apprenticeship - Share your skills by helping to run a workshop or performing/presenting to others. Record what you learnt and show evidence of your activity.
You choose which media to use to provide evidence of your achievements. You can write, or use video, audio or a website. You will work with an adviser at Open Minds to achieve your goals and you can work with other young people or on your own.
