Get set for the SATS with KS3 Shakespeare Workshops

Open Minds Theatre Company offers professional theatre workshops for Key Stage 3 students approaching their SATS tests.

Fantastic way of revising or preparing for SATS

Combining the skills of 5 professional actors accompanied by students in performance, professional theatre director and writer Steve Rogers facilitates the action through forum theatre techniques prompted by questions and observations from workshop participants.

The freeze-frame and questioning techniques were very well handled

Engaged the students with the characters as well as the acting processes

Students fully explore issues developed through Shakespeare’s texts, encouraging and refining their critical appreciation of character, language, plot, proxemics and directing.

Made the students aware of the play as a performance...

Focussing directly on the QCA ascribed scenes, this year being The Tempest and Romeo and Juliet , students are afforded intensive opportunity to develop their thinking around what they need to write when it comes to their big day thereby offering great value both for their time and for your budget.

If they can get **** to listen and take part, it must have been good

Workshops take place on a flat floor in your school hall or gym and can be adapted to suit your schools needs and timetables. Each workshop can accommodate up to 150 students as either a half day or a full day for the gifted and talented.

Very professional and extremely useful

Prices range from £700 (half day) to £1,150 (full day) plus VAT fully inclusive of all expenses.
